George Gagnidze will perform a recital at the XVI Festival lírico Ópera Benicàssim in Spain on August 4. Accompanied by pianist José Manuel Frasquet, George will sing Neapolitan songs, art songs by Tchaikovsky as well as arias from some of his most important roles such as Macbeth, Nabucco, Tonio (Pagliacci) and Carlo Gérard (Andrea Chénier). The concert will take place at 21:00h at the Teatre Municipal Francesc Tàrrega.

In July and August 2025, George Gagnidze makes his debut at Oper im Steinbruch in St. Margarethen, starring in the title role of Der fliegende Holländer. The new production, directed by Philipp M. Krenn and conducted by Patrick Lange, features Elisabeth Teige as Senta, Liang Li as Daland, AJ Glueckert as Erik, Roxana Constantinescu as Mary, and Jinxu Xiahou as the Steersman.

George Gagnidze is back singing the title role of Rigoletto, his signature role and one of his most performed parts. This time he stars as the tormented court jester at the Opéra national de Paris. Performances will take place at the Opéra Bastille from May 10 to June 12, 2025, under the baton of Andrea Battistoni in a production by Claus Guth.

George Gagnidze is set to make his debut in Hungary, performing the title role in Verdi’s Macbeth at the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest. This new production, directed by Matthew Wild, premieres on February 22, 2025, with additional performances featuring George Gagnidze on February 28 and March 5. The opera will be led by the theatre’s principal conductor Martin Rajna.

On November 24, George Gagnidze will return to the Staatsoper Hamburg as Miller in an Andreas Homoki production of Luisa Miller under the musical direction of Lorenzo Passerini. He will share the stage with Narea Son in the title role, Giorgio Berrugi as Rodolfo, Adam Palka as Conte di Walter, Kristina Stanek as Federica, and Brindley Sherrat as Wurm. Other performances will occur on November 28 and 30 as well as on December 4.
